Dr. Mariana Astiz, Dr. Sylvia A. Newbold and Dr. Denise Ferrarini attended the biggest neuroscience conference at European level: the FENS Forum 2026 in Barcelona (Spain). Actually, this edition was the largest FENS Forum ever with more than 8,000 attendees!!
Our researchers did a great job sharing the latest results from the lab in two posters:
📢 Stars of the master circadian clock: A characterization of gliogenesis in the mouse suprachiasmatic nucleus – Presented by Dr. Sylvia A. Newbold.
📢 Clonal Mapping of the Ontogeny of the Mouse Suprachiasmatic Nucleus – Presented by Dr. Denise Ferrarini. Denise would like to thank the British Society for Neuroendocrinology (BSN) for their support of this work with the International Conference Travel Grant (0132).Â
Both presenters were talking non-stop, explaining and discussing their results with many interested minds that went to visit them.Â
Over five inspiring days, the team learned about the latest advances in neuroscience, participated in networking events, took part in scientific discussions and attended top-quality Plenary Lectures. They also spend some time catching-up with collaborators on ongoing projects. Let’s say that days were long but very productive!Â
In summary, the team was very happy to actively participate in the FENS Forum 2026. It was truly motivating to see that many neuroscience professionals brought together doing and sharing great science.
